Elements Of Nature | Genesis is an art series meditating on the interconnectedness and interdependence of all living beings. As energy flows through ecosystems, it links every living organism with non-living parts. Through form, texture, and movement, the visuals reveal how elements of nature connect, assemble, and coevolve.

The series features abstract organic patterns, digital sculptures, and forms that symbolize species habitats and communicate the interdependence of all life. Each geometry is generated parametrically with custom scripts in Blender and can change in real time as incoming data parameters shift.

In previous projects—The Soundwaves Collection (whale bioacoustics) and Tracing The Wild (lion GPS data)—we translated animal data into digital sculptures that capture the dynamics of behavior and habitat across time and space. Elements of Nature continues this trajectory, opening up the question of how human habitats might also participate in the chains of interdependence that connect every form of life.

This inquiry leads us to explore how eco-data-driven artistic experiments can evolve into physical reality and materiality. By mixing virtual and physical, organic and inorganic, we aim to expand our investigations into designs sensitive to natural phenomena.

The creation of this art series was supported by the technology and ecology nonprofit, Sovereign Nature Initiative.
